The BLOCK Fall Arrest Device with Ultra Safe Shock Absorber is a personal protective equipment developed to provide protection against falls during vertical movement and on inclined planes , being suitable for rope access operations, work at height, technical rescue and confined spaces .
Designed for use on 11mm to 12mm synthetic kernmantle ropes , this device features an efficient toothed locking system that provides extremely fast locking in case of a fall. In tests conducted in a laboratory certified by INMETRO, the device showed less than 1 cm of slippage before definitive locking , offering excellent performance compared to other devices on the market.
The equipment is manufactured with an aluminum body , stainless steel side plates and shaft, and a high-tenacity polyester webbing energy absorber , providing high mechanical strength, low weight, and excellent durability for industrial applications.
Its shock absorber limits the force transmitted to the user during a fall, reaching a maximum force of approximately 5.4 kN , remaining below the limit required by fall protection standards.
