The Petzl CROLL S Chest Ascender is a compact, high-performance chest ascender designed to provide efficient rope progression during rope access operations, work at height, technical rescue, and caving .
Designed for use with Petzl BASIC or ASCENSION ascenders, the CROLL S keeps the user's body in an optimized position during ascent, providing more efficient progression and reducing physical effort during vertical movements.
Its body is made of high-strength aluminum , while the cam and wear plate are made of stainless steel , offering high corrosion resistance and excellent durability even in harsh industrial environments.
The serrated cam with self-cleaning groove ensures excellent grip on the rope and maintains efficient operation even in the presence of mud, dust, water or ice, without compromising the integrity of the rope sheath when used correctly.
The ergonomic safety latch , equipped with a retaining spring, allows for convenient one-handed opening, reducing the risk of accidental opening during operation.
